How about something that allows you to compare package files? Currently when you install with the Maxis package installer (say a lot) if you have the items already on the lot then you can delete the repeats. Or does WooHoo already do this somehow?

Also, as far as a forum goes, what kind are you thinking of? I have some forum skills and I also know of somebody who might be willing to host it for free. network54.com has some slimmed down forum and chat software, but it's all free as well.

Regarding the custom neighborhoods, for those of you with X.4 there is Automator which might help. A quick workflow could easily rename all of the files in the folder without any risk of missing any.

Oh, this would be useful. I downloaded a recolored version of the Maxis dollhouse and it overrode the old one. I had to delete it to get the original back. A warning about GUID conflicts would be good so you know ahead of time one of your objects is going to screw with things. So far I think the only one I've come across has been the dollhouse, but I might have more lurking in sets I haven't tested in-game yet.

Finding GUID conflicts would be handy. And to be able to change them. I had a coffee table once that the creator didn't change it so it overrode the original. Took me a while to realize that. I wonder how many custom stuff I've downloaded that may override another custom?

I echo this want. I would love to be able to fix clothing files that a creator put in every clothing category. I don't go for that stuff, but sometimes the piece is really nice so I'd love to keep it, but I don't want my sims working out in their underwear. :-P Being able to recategorize clothing would be a nice plus.

Hi, I love woohoo! My wish is to be able to easily go into a package, see what file directory it shows up in within the game (i.e. comfort -> dining chair) and edit that. I find, especially with clothing, creators make the file so that it shows up in more than one category. also, this would be very helpful for creating a well organized downloads folder. Thanks for all your hard work! and thanks to luws for unlocking the bad file names!

Another tidbit for you to chew on. In the character editor of Woohoo, would it be possible to adjust the age of a sim by days and not just by age group? Sometimes I'd like my adults to be different ages, one middle aged and one younger, instead of both even or one an adult and one an elder. I know you can use the elixer in the game and have it fail to add days on by 3 but... I'd like to have more control over their ages by days.

Just wanted to mention it.

Another idea. I know we've requested a character editor time and time again. Would a memory manager be able to be worked in? Like sim memories. I have trouble with corrupt death memories and by gen3 I'm trashing my neighborhood or completely reinstalling because of the corruption. PC folks can use SimPE to go in and fix these corrupt memories, but Macs have nothing to correct corruption so we just have to lose our hoods. So I was wondering about a memory manager to be able to edit sim memories. This would probably fall into a character editor. I just wanted to mention this specifically because it is a big problem for me and the only response I get from Aspyr time and time again is to reinstall.

Oh, and it is nice being able to see the file names of bad files now. Thank you to you and a luws!
